The program is designed for children who are not travelling to other resorts but must have low intermediate skiing skills. Children must be able to load the chairlift by themselves and should be able to ski all ski slopes at Bryce Resort. These morning clinics are truly fun and expose camaraderie among the young children. The coaches will introduce the children to proper skiing skills, work on all aspects of skiing, mountain cruising and low-level ski racing. The first clinic day will be held on December 16th, and we would like to make sure the child will be able to join a certain skill level group. If a child cannot attend this day, a coach would like to evaluate on an earlier skiing day in December.

The Ski Team Program is specific tailored for the skilled juniors who desire to travel and improve their technical skiing and racing skills in competition. The morning sessions comprise of fundamental skiing improvements and gate training on weekends and during Christmas Holidays. The juniors compete throughout the season in NASTAR and may travel to other ski areas for competitions. At other ski areas, the coach will train the junior racers specific for the designated race event.

The National Standard Race offers recreational skiers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to test their skills against the national NASTAR pacesetter. Platinum, gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded based on an individual’s time, as handicapped by age and gender. Don’t miss the opportunity to see your NASTAR results on the Internet at www.nastar.com. Nastar Races are held Saturday, Sunday and Holiday afternoons.
