Full Access Weekend Package with 2 Clinics
This is the pinnacle TakeOver experience! Most participants choose this option as a way to continue progressing their skills. (With this selection, you get everything included in the list above + 2 Skills clinics; ONE EACH DAY). Must be age 12 & over to take clinics. After selecting the “Full Access Weekend w/ 2 clinics” category box on registration, you will then select one (2 hour) clinic each day. It can be either an AM or PM clinic, (total of one each day) for an overall total of 2 for the weekend. We do not offer clinics to single-day tickets because we don't feel it promotes the community building that the TakeOver is all about. However, any unsold clinics will be offered for sale on an individual basis the week before the TakeOver.
Full Weekend or One day Package with No Clinics
You get everything included in the list above; however, you are opting out of skills clinics.
Junior Shredder Package
For juniors ages 8-11. Riders can be any ability level and will stay together as a group. They will have a dedicated coach with them for the day for more of a “summer camp” style experience. They will get coaching, some bike set up and mechanic skills & have time to rip tons of laps! They may attend any of the workshops we offer and are encouraged to race the DownDuro.
**All coaching is included with the Jr Shredders package. Do not make additional clinic selections from the registration list.
THE SKILLS CLINICS:
We have assembled 10 of the most experienced professional coaches in our region and offer a wide variety of clinics and ability levels. There's something for everyone.
It can be tricky to determine your skill level when signing up for clinics. We aren't always the best judge of our own skills and abilities! To help you with that, we have labeled our clinics with a rating of Level 1 to Level 3. Please consider your experience and skill for each different clinic topic, not necessarily your overall skill as a rider. We hope this makes it easier for you to select the appropriate clinic.
Keep in mind, mountain bike progression is not necessarily linear. You may be a Level 3 for one skill set and a Level 1 for another. For instance, you may be an Elite XC racer who crushes technical terrain at a Level 3. But you have never learned to Jump, so you should sign up for a Level 1 Jump Clinic.
If you have any questions about which clinics to sign up for, please contact us and ask.
Skill Clinic Levels - Described
LEVEL 1:
You’re a novice rider or you’re new to the topic being taught. Focus is on building a strong foundation for this skill set to grow on.
You’re looking for a good refresher on the topic to build your confidence.
You want to learn correct techniques or break bad habits.
**For Level 1 Jumps and Drops: you have little to no experience with jumps or drops and are learning them for the first time. Or you have some experience, but have never taken a lesson for Jumps or Drops and want to ensure that your skills are solid before advancing.
LEVEL 2:
You’re comfortable with the fundamentals for the topic and are still working to make them happen automatically.
You have good bike handling skills and you’re comfortable riding a variety of terrain.
You want to ensure your skills on the topic before moving to more advanced techniques.
**For Level 2 Jumps and Drops: you have some experience with small jumps and drops, but want to solidify the proper techniques so you can advance with confidence. It’s preferred that you have taken a prior Jump/Drop lesson.
LEVEL 3:
You have a solid foundation for the topic being taught.
You have strong bike handling skills.
You’re confident on most terrain but are still adding to your tool box and refining technique.
**For Level 3 Jumps and Drops: you are regularly getting your wheels off the ground and are clearing small gaps, medium sized table top jumps and drops up to 3’. It’s highly recommended that you have had prior coaching for Jumps and Drops.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
All mountain bikes ridden at Bryce Bike Park must have one form of suspension (no full rigid bikes allowed). Hardtail (front suspension only) or full suspension (front & rear suspension) are both good bikes for the TakeOver. Bryce has bike rentals if needed, or if you just want to try out a more modern ride to what you currently own.
Full faced helmets are recommended for all riders and are required to take clinics, ride the Double Black trails and to race the DownDuro (including practice).
Body Armor, elbow & knee pads, gloves, eye protection are recommended, but optional. Don't let a minor spill ruin your entire weekend!
Full Faced helmets and pads can be rented from the Bryce Bike Park.
