Mini-Rider Online Registration

Our Mini-Rider Program is designed to teach beginning snowboard technique to children ages 6 to 7 years.  We offer private instruction  to accommodate children of this age with more advanced skills.  Please note that we do not accept younger children because they lack the necessary muscle strength to maneuver properly on the snow.  The Little Nip and Mighty Might terrain areas are located at the base of the slopes so you can watch your little ones learn a new sport while you enjoy a hot chocolate on the back deck, or sneak a peek as you enjoy cruising the slopes yourself.   Skiing and Riding are great family activities.  Our adult lessons run concurrently with our Mini-rider program.  Consider taking a lesson yourself!

The easiest way for children to get straight to the slopes is by using our ONLINE REGISTRATION. That way, all the paperwork will be completed when you arrive and you can just sign and ski.

Each three hour Mini-Rider Session includes:

• Lift ticket

• 1 1/2 hours of snowboard instruction*

• Indoor Activities

• Hot Chocolate and snack break

* Actual time on the snow may vary depending on weather conditions or your child's willingness to participate.  Our philosophy is to encourage children to snowboard, to let them enjoy themselves, and to boost their confidence so they want to keep trying. Most children respond positively to the reassuring attitude of our young instructors and want to join their new friends on the snow.  If your child responds better to one-on-one instruction, we also offer private lessons, subject to instructor availability.

We accept a maximum of five students per session on a first-come, first-served basis.  You may sign up for half-day or full-day sessions, but full-day students should be picked up at Noon to enjoy lunch with your family. MINI-RIDER ONLINE REGISTRATION

First Time Packages 8 yrs & Up

This three-part package is available for first-time skiers and snowboarders ages eight years and older.  (Younger children should enroll in the SKIwee or Mini-Rider programs.)   The package includes equipment rental, a 1 1/4 hour group lesson, and a carpet lift/slope use ticket.  First-time Ski & Snowboard Packages are restricted to the beginner area; however, after three hours of skiing/riding, the ticket may be upgraded to a chair lift ticket for $10 weekdays, $17 weekends. The lift ticket is good until the lifts close. At this time, this package is not available for on line pre-registration.

Sign up for First-Time Ski and Snowboard packages in the ski rental area.  1 1/4 Hour Group Instruction Classes meet on the slope in front of the Ski School Office.  Signs are posted in the snow designating appropriate meeting place for First-Time Skiers or First-Time Snowboarders.  For more information email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Classes begin at the following times:

Weekdays: 10:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm

Weekends/Holidays: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm

Intermediate Group Lessons 9 yrs & up

OK, you have mastered skiing wedge turns, snowboarding toe turns and stopping manuevers.  Time to move on!  Intermediate group ski classes will focus on improved balance through proper stance, implementation of parallel turns, and pole planting techniques.  Intermediate Snowboarding lessons also focus on improved balance, pointing the board downhill, and executing heel turns.  Getting down the mountain safely is the first step, doing it with style is the next step.

Start your season out right with a group lesson to improve your skiing and/or riding technique.  Must be nine years or older to participate.  (Younger intermediate skiers and riders should sign up for the Intermediate SKIwee Program or for a private snowboard lesson.)  Group lessons for two or more persons last 1-1/4 hours.  Sign up for lessons in the Ski School at the base of the Little Nip ski slope.  Group lessons meet on the snow in front of the ski school.  Look for signs in the snow indicating ' Intermediate Skier Lesson' or 'Intermediate Snowboarder Lesson'.

Intermediate Group Lessons are held daily at 1:00pm.

Private Lessons - All Ages & levels

Private Lesson Online Registration

A private lesson is the perfect way to get quality one on one time with a qualified instructor who will tailor a session to meet your specific needs.  Subject to instructor availability, private lessons are offered for every  ski and snowboarding ability, and to anyone five years or older.  For an additional fee you can pair up with a friend, spouse or sibling; however, the lesson will be more productive if both students ski or snowboard at approximately the same level.
